In September 2016, our cafe was given a zero rating following an inspection. We immediately set about making improvements, acting decisively to address each issue raised. As a result, the cafe has been awarded a level three rating, and we are continuing to work on improving this with a view to gaining a top rating. We will be applying for reinspection in the near future.
However, the failings in the September inspection resulted in a court case. We chose to plead guilty and were issued with a fine. We would like to reassure customers that all failings have been addressed. This should never have happened, and we have now overhauled all of our systems and processes to ensure that our cafe meets the high standards that our customers deserve.
